EXAMPLE:
On average, your employees work approximately 245 days per year:
52 possible weeks
1 week for vacation
1 week for holidays
1 week for personal and sick days

That leaves you with 49 weeks with 5 business days per week 49x5= 245 days

Let’s say you have:
$1,000,000 in sales
10 employees
That’s $100,000 per employee
Divide that by 245 days

That’s $408 per day, or $51 per hour, per employee based on an 8 hour day

Let’s assume you can save one minute per employee per day from increased productivity:

10 employees, 1 minute per day saved
10 minutes x 245 days – 2,450 minutes and that equals 40 hours!
40 hours x $51 - $2040 with only one minute per day!
